NEW PROJECT. Did you know there is this great system of "scenic byways" across America.

Most people know about the National Parks but fewer know about the scenic byways in

their own backyard. 

Ever since my husband and I visited the "scenic byways" in Washington State, I have wanted to

do a series of paintings, capturing the beauty of the byways.

So here it is. I will post paintings as I finish them and  blog about the experience.

There will be a show of all the work at PARKLANE GALLERY in Kirkland, Washington

in April 2009. 

Feel free to offer suggestions/comments about your favorite scenic byway.
